It’s not even close: The year 2020 will go down in history as one of the most turbulent ever. It’s the year we found out about the coronavirus in March that started a pandemic, our first since 1918. Our president, Donald Trump, ignored it although he knew about it in January. He has not only failed in leadership and destroyed our standing around the world; he also divided our country, wrecked the Republican Party, and fueled racism beyond normal.
He has most White people believing that minorities are the enemy. They are the reason that America is being taken away from the majority race by the mixing of races. Blacks, Mexicans and others are on a mission to be treated as equals. The only way to make America great again is to dominate the U.S. race war, build his wall in the South to close the borders to deny citizenship and to deport DACAs.
All this after turning his back on the spread of COVID-19 by refusing to promote the importance of wearing masks and social distancing, even though he himself and his wife have had the virus. The White House has several staff members who have also tested positive. He’s convincing his 84 million followers on Twitter with lies and using the FOX Network to support him.
He has convinced more than 71 million Americans that the presidential election he lost to Joe Biden was stolen from him, and many if not most of them are supporting this distortion. He is challenging with false claims of voter fraud. He is building a revolt across the U.S. to support his refusal to surrender the White House.
He lost the election 306-232 in the Electoral College to Democrat Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, the first Black/Asian woman vice president in American history. Again the Democratic Party used a mixed ticket to regain the presidency. Biden/Harris have 78,789,112 votes to Trump /Pence 73,012,320. That’s almost a margin of six million votes.
Trump continues to make false claims of voter fraud and widespread cheating while he clings to believing he’s the president for life. He’s doing it while 245,000 Americans have died since March and now over 10,500,000 positive cases of COVID-19 with numbers surging all over the United States. The United States of America, thanks to Trump, has become the biggest loser.
