The Minnesota International Sports and Reggae Festival is a series of events put together by Organization for Strategic Development in Jamaica (OSDJ), a Minnesota based non-profit. The event comes to the Twin Cities from June 24 to June 30, 2019. A portion of the proceeds from the festival will go to the improvement of Bustamante Children’s Hospital in Jamaica as well as outreach of healthcare in Jamaica.
The Minnesota International Sports and Reggae Festival features three events:
- 1. The artist members of the internationally renowned reggae band Third World will present instrumental/vocal workshops at The International Summer Institute for Reggae Studies

- 2. The Minnesota Reggae Run is part of the week-long Minnesota International Sports and Reggae Festival which seeks to strengthen the bonds between Minnesota and Jamaica and raise support for Outreach to Jamaica.

- 3. The JaMN Reggae Concert with performance by Third World, The Reggae Ambassadors, who are one of the longest-lasting Reggae bands of all time, and one of Jamaica’s most consistently popular crossover acts among international audiences.
